SolarOne’s FrontLiner has been designed and built in Australia using Australian technology and knowledge of sustainable resources usage.

SolarOne’s Frontliners has been designed with extensive collaboration of Mining Site Management, Mining OH&S and the CFMEU Work Safey Advisors.

Collision avoidance is a major concern for every department of a mining company because of the potential for loss of human resources as well as loss of revenues.

SolarOne has studied Mining’s concerns and, from further studies and trials, created a low costs, reliable solution that will enable haullage work to continue at night with greater safety.

SolarOne’s FrontLiners have been built to withstand the rigours of mining and construction sites and, to avoid electrical servicing the solar lighting independently replenishes itself daily. And, with SolarOne’s back-up power management technology, a software application developed specially or SolarOne, FrontLiner will store enough power to continue the next night, even after extended hours of low or minimum sunlight.

FrontLiner’s casing is of advance Nylon Glass materials that are resistant to most chemicals found at industrial sites, impervious to UV dmamage and strong enough to be thrown into the back of a ute with the other tools. The lens is made of an other innovative material call Grillamid. Grillamid is the strongest of the Nylon Plastics and can sustain just about anything thrown at it without loss of strength or clarity.

Each unit is sealed, joined with the highest quality nickel plated tamper-proof bolts and able to be mounted and fastened to most road safety ballards or Whyalla Y Posts (Star Posts).


Product Functionality

With the photovoltaic charging cycle, in the day time solar energy is converted into electricity through solar cells and stored in ultracapacitor. As light levels fall at night time, they automatically produce intense, narrow beams of light visable from over 500 meters. The placement for haulage roads, for example, is recommended to be at around 50 meters per pair of FrontLiners.

Full charge takes less than 3 hours under direct sunlight and approximately 6 hours under shade or overcast conditons.

Light is emmitted for more than 20 hours with fully a charged ultracapacitor making them ideal for remote, quick install, maintenance free usage.
