Plenty Creek Track (Banyule City Council)
Background
Having seen the SolarOne lighting concept and it’s technology, Banyule undertook a relatively small project connecting Lower Plenty Road with the Plenty River Trail. It was new path and required some form of delineation or guide lighting, as it was sloped and slightly hazardous connecting with an existing path and a highway.
The brief was to provide suitable sustainable lighting that made the path safer, and of course being in a reserved area, minimise environmental damage and costs.
Feedback from users and council has been excellent.
